A US federal judge decided on Monday that Facebook have to face a class activity lawsuit alleging how the social network unlawfully built facial templates for the people without their authorisation.
The ruling adds to the details privacy woes that have been mounting against Twitter for weeks, considering that it was disclosed the fact that personal information of millions of users was prepared by the political company Cambridge Analytica.
US District Judge Adam Donato ruled in San Francisco federal courts that a class action appeared to be the most efficient way to deal with the dispute above facial templates.
